2015
This light installation consists of a three-dimensional star map of the brightest 30 stars in the Milky Way seen from the northern hemisphere. The location of each illuminated globe is determined by the star's location in the night sky and the height is determined by the star's distance from earth (lower globes are stars closest to earth). The color of each globe refers to the wavelength of light that the star emits.
