This group of twelve works on paper is based on images of the Milky Way as seen from the Northern hemisphere over the course of a year. Each drawing of the galaxy, which includes our solar system, corresponds to a particular month. These varied depiction's illustrate how this galaxy appears differently as the earth orbits the sun, rotating 360 degrees in the course of a year. Tang, the orange-flavored drink invented for astronauts, is used as the medium for these drawings.
