This light work is based on the idea of a haiku which consists of 3 lines using the 5/7/5 syllable structure. Presented vertically like in Japanese writing, the 15 syllables are represented as 15 different colors. The work recreates the light as measured at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, with the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
