This fluorescent light work re-creates the color of light measured at Giverny from the far end of the pond looking towards the Japanese Bridge. It was June and everything was in full bloom. The small segments of filter pieces refer to the small brushstrokes of Impressionism while the colors are loosely based on Monet’s waterlily palette.
