This installation recreates the subtle play of light and shadow projected through the windows of the artist’s studio onto the walls at night when the interior lights are turned off. This complex arrangement of light is generated by a range of streetlights, safety lights, automobile headlights, crossing lights and a traffic light located outside his studio in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn.
