This piece documents the precise color and location in the sky over Cape Canaveral where the space shuttle Challenger exploded. Isolated in a one-square-kilometer area of the sky in a three-centimeter-square view. Studying this particular spot, Finch recorded what he saw in acrylic paint, mixing the colors on site.
