Between the Moon and the Sea
Installation at FRAC des Pays de la Loire
Water, wood, balloon light
Dimensions variable
2010

This work is an environment for recreating the Japanese activity of viewing a (full) moon in the reflection of a pond. This installation, at Frac Pays des Loire in France, required that the gallery space be flooded with three inches of water. The zig zag bridge was designed to maximize the viewing opportunities of the large artificial moon from different angles.
